The deionizer uses ion exchange technology that will remove all solids from the water source resulting in a mineral-free water that leaves no spotting after rinsing. We recommend not drinking DI water. Unit produces approx. 224 gallons of water good for 45 auto rinses or 7 Class A RV rinses with a TDS of 250 at 2 GPM (5 gallons per car/30 per RV) before recharging is necessary.
